This is our Comfort menu. Classic dishes we rotate through our own homes, cooked the way they’ve always been cooked.

Chole is the anchor.

Chickpeas soaked overnight, then simmered slowly until soft but intact. Whole spices bloomed in hot oil. Tomatoes, onions, garlic and ginger cooked down until sweet and deep. The masala stirred and watched until it darkens and settles, finished with a potli of tea leaves for warmth and colour. On the tongue, it’s rounded and reassuring. Earthy cumin, gentle chilli heat, a savoury depth that lingers rather than hits. She’s the star, supported by a crunchy Cabbage and carrot stir-fry. Savoury and lemony from coriander seeds and curry leaves, alongside the soft sweetness of aubergine, sweet potato and red pepper, cooked low and slow until falling apart. Together, these are dishes that bring flavour, warmth and comfort. The kind of food that relaxes you...then quietly asks for another mouthful.
