What's the story?

DabbaDrop was born from a love of, yet frustration with,  curry night. A frustration with oil and plastic laden takeaways, delivered in a puff of smoke.

Co-founders & East London mums Anshu & Renée had other ideas. What if the warmth & ritual of homemade curries could be realised, as they were experienced in cultures around the world? 


Inspired by the unstoppable dabbawala system in Mumbai, they crafted heirloom family recipes, using only the best, wholesome, real ingredients. Food designed for the joy of sharing, without guilt about your health or the planet.

How does it work?

Just like Butter & Crust, DabbaDrop is a subscription service - simply place your order and we'll deliver chef-made, plant-packed curries to your door as often as you like. It could be weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

We switch up the menu every week - you just heat and eat. Every dabba delivery includes:

🥘 A stack of 4 wholesome dishes, for a fully rounded & balanced meal.

🥕 A big dose of vegetables, with a contribution of between 10-20 plant points per menu.

🚲 Delivery by bike to your doorstep, with absolutely zero plastic.
