What's in your Dabba?

Dabba what?

At DabbaDrop, we draw inspiration from the rich tradition of the dabba—the stacked Indian tins that have long been a symbol of cultural resilience, sustainability, and connection to home. Just as these tins were used by Dabbawalas to deliver home-cooked meals to workers, we carry forward that legacy by bringing Indian flavours to your door with a modern twist. Each layer of our dabbas holds a different dish, representing the diversity of Indian cuisine carefully prepared to nourish both body and spirit.

Much like the Indian migrants who carried their dabbas across the globe, we believe in preserving the essence of home-cooked meals while adapting to new tastes and environments. Our model embraces this tradition, connecting you to the richness of Indian culinary heritage, while also following the spice route to new lands. Just as the dabbas kept migrant workers connected to their roots, DabbaDrop fosters a sense of home, even in the busiest of lives - great to be shared, or enjoyed alone.

About Us

Hi,
We’re Anshu & Renee. Two mums from East London on a mission to reclaim our mealtimes.

For one night a week, we do the legwork so you can just sit down and eat.

We make the decisions, source the best ingredients, and spend time cooking up delicious curries that are deep with flavour and full of goodness.

And then we deliver our dabbas to homes across London so we can all make a meal of it, together.

It’s food that’s beautiful, soul-lifting and convenient.

Good for you, and the planet.

With spices that take you on a journey around the world.

A treat without the side order of guilt.

We invite you to put down your phone, put on some music and reconnect. Dinner is served, from our table to yours.

With love x
