Thick-cut aubergine takes colour on the outside and stays soft in the middle. Finished with mustard seeds, curry leaf, dried chilli, cinnamon and cardamom.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-end=\"1280\" data-start=\"1057\"\u003e\u003cstrong data-end=\"1081\" data-start=\"1057\"\u003eCherry tomato sambar\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr data-end=\"1084\" data-start=\"1081\"\u003eMasoor dal, tamarind and sambar powder, the toasted lentil and dried chilli blend that makes a sambar a sambar. The cherry tomatoes bring a sweet-sharpness that keeps it light for warmer evenings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-end=\"1465\" data-start=\"1282\"\u003e\u003cstrong data-end=\"1305\" data-start=\"1282\"\u003eDill and lemon rice\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr data-end=\"1308\" data-start=\"1305\"\u003eDill is not the obvious herb in a Kerala kitchen, but it works beautifully here.
